  I stopped to get gas, and I prepaid with my card at the pump. Before I put the gas pump hose in my car, I noticed the numbers on the pump going up, I pumped my gas anyways. As anyone would do, I locked the handle of the pump, and a few minutes later it clicked and stopped pumping gas, but the numbers kept rising. The gas pump was still charging me money!
  I got the attention of the clerk that was inside the store, he came outside and I showed him the pump was still charging me as if it was still pumping gas. I was holding the pump and he clearly saw the numbers for the gallons of gas and the cost rising and offered a refund for what I thought I was owed. He ended up giving me a few dollars, which was probably more than what I lost.
  The clerk was very polite, but I think the gas pumps are rigged to rip off customers.
